2026 Luxury Hotel “HOT” Openings: The Future of Luxury Hospitality Starts in London
London’s luxury hospitality landscape is set for a landmark year, with a wave of high-profile hotel openings in 2025 reinforcing the capital’s status as one of the world’s most dynamic destinations for premium travel and lifestyle experiences.
From the highly anticipated Waldorf Astoria at Admiralty Arch and Cambridge House in Mayfair, to the arrival of Six Senses in Bayswater and The Newman in Fitzrovia, London will see no shortage of statement openings.
However, the project currently commanding the most industry attention is St Clement, the first major hospitality venture by Nick Jones since stepping down as Chief Executive of Soho House in 2022. Positioned as a refined yet culturally embedded riverfront hotel, the project marks a strategic evolution in Jones’s approach to luxury, community, and long-stay hospitality.
St Clement is located within the 180 Quarter, a bold mixed-use regeneration between the Strand and the Thames. Formerly a collection of large corporate office buildings — including one that once housed over 3,000 employees of Arthur Andersen — the area has been reimagined as a creative and cultural hub. Today, it already hosts destination venues such as Toklas, the two-Michelin-starred Ikoyi, a Soho House outpost, and Jones’s premium food concept Corner Shop.
The riverfront hotel, named after the nearby St Clement Danes, designed by Christopher Wren, will feature 90 guest rooms, many offering panoramic Thames views and private balconies, alongside 15 loft-style residences tailored for extended stays. A standout amenity will be a 25-metre river-facing swimming pool, positioning the property firmly within London’s emerging ultra-luxury lifestyle hotel segment.
Scheduled to open in April 2025, pricing has yet to be announced, but expectations are high that St Clement will set a new benchmark for riverfront luxury hotels in London, blending hospitality, design, and cultural relevance into a single destination.
